PUERTO SILVER.- A young girl was found dead inside her room this Friday morning (today) in the populous Padre Granero sector of this Atlantic city of San Felipe de Puerto Plata.
The deceased responded to the name of Merlina González, 19 years old, whose death could presumably have been due to a heart attack; however, the authorities sent the lifeless body to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) to perform an autopsy.
In other news, a citizen was injured after the motorcycle that was driving the back of a SUV collided in the upper part of General Gregorio Luperón Avenue (malecón) in Puerto Plata.
The injured citizen was identified as Luis José Morel, a resident of the Dubeau expansion (Los Callejones), who received assistance from the staff of the Ámbar Rescue relief agency and was then transferred to a health center.
