SAN PEDRO DE MACORÍS.– He Judge of the Permanent Attention Office of the Judicial District of San Pedro de Macorís dictated three months of preventive detention as a measure of coercion against two men charged with the murder of a young man occurred last August in the surroundings of Palace of Justice of San Francisco de Macorís.
The prosecuted Ricky Alberto Hernández (El Goldo) and Winder Jaime (Distrust) are charged by the Public Ministry of causing the shooting death of young Luis Gustavo Grullón De Aza (Nini).
During the hearing, they declared arrests valid of both accused, carried out in accordance with the current procedural regulationsdue to its connection to the event that occurred in the morning hours of last August 26.
As requested by the Public Ministry, the judge Josefina Noemí Díazof the Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services of the Judicial District of Duarte, declared the processing process complexby virtue of the provisions of the Articles 369 and 370 of the Dominican Criminal Procedure Codemodified by the Law 10-15since it is a fact linked to the organized crime.

The judge ordered that the preventive detention is served in a correction and rehabilitation centerwhich was not specified for security reasons. Furthermore, he granted a eight-month period to the Public Ministry to present the conclusive requirement.
He Public Ministry indicated that those charged are being prosecuted for alleged violation of articles 59, 60, 265, 295, 296, 297, 298 and 304 of the Dominican Penal Codewhich sanction the association of criminals and the murder.
