A company survey DataViva, concluded that the vast majority of Venezuelans, with 89% of the responses of those consulted, maintains an unfavorable opinion towards the far-right María Corina Machado and her political actions.
Only six percent approved of his public image while five percent were not even interested in responding, against the vast majority who consider his negative role in Venezuela, associated with a leadership perceived as confrontational and distant from national interests.
Likewise, those surveyed through telephone interviews rejected any external action advocated by Machado, because they imply aggression or international pressure, considering them incompatible with peace and respect for the sovereignty of Venezuela.
To the question, do you think that the request for a multifactorial aggression against Venezuela, promoted by María Corina Machado, would contribute to the peace of the country? More than 93% considered his allegations completely harmful.
Rejection of interventionism
The results reflect that his figure is not associated with efforts for dialogue or consensus solutions. The population perceives proposals for foreign pressure or aggression as incompatible with peace and sovereignty.
Do you believe that María Corina Machado has made efforts for peace in Venezuela? The pollsters stated, with 84% responding that the leader has not promoted concrete actions aimed at dialogue or national reconciliation. Only six percent said yes, being surpassed by 10% who preferred not to give an opinion.
Disagreement with the Nobel
How much do you agree with the Nobel Peace Prize being awarded to María Corina Machado? It was raised before the audience, and 86% said they were against it, 10% were indifferent and only four percent were in favor.
The vast majority considers that international recognition lacks a foundation in concrete actions that promote peace. The widespread disapproval of the award reflects a perception of lack of coherence between his speech and his actions.
Consistent trend
The results consolidate a citizen vision oriented towards stability, dialogue and the defense of national sovereignty.
The survey was carried out this October 10, in a national geographical area, with 1,500 interviews with random selection of people over 18 years of age with a telephone, landline and/or mobile line, with a probabilistic study universe, stratified by region, sex and age group. The confidence level of the public survey is 95%, while the maximum admissible sampling error is ±1.2%.
