The Public Ministry charged Alex Robert Blasco Gainza (50) with the crime of aggravated femicide, accused of murdering nurse Roxana Yoselin Parra (25) by arson.
The events occurred last Sunday in the house where Alex and Roxana lived, located in the Tamarindo sector, Aroa (Yaracuy), a report from the Prosecutor’s Office stated.
Apparently, the subject did not accept the breakup of his relationship with Roxana and therefore he doused her with gasoline and set her on fire, a situation that warranted the transfer of the victim to the Antonio María Pineda hospital, in Barquisimeto (Lara), where he died last Friday.
Subsequently, the Cicpc captured the subject and handed him over to the Prosecutor’s Office. Roxana Parra’s funeral procession was taken to the Aroa hospital, José Elías Landinez, where she worked.
