A young man was intervened by security guards and neighbors after trying to rob the “Brindis” convenience store with a knife, located at the intersection of Huancavelica and 9 de Diciembre avenues, in Los Héroes park, Chilca district.

According to the local worker, the subject entered threatening her and demanding money and products, but was subdued by citizens who were nearby.
Minutes later, calm and effective officers from the Chilca Police Station arrived, and found a sharp weapon in the possession of the suspect. The detainee and the parties involved were placed at the disposal of the National Police for legal proceedings.
