Social Prosperity is alerting citizens, especially older people in poverty or vulnerability, so that they do not allow themselves to be fooled by people who are using the name of the entity and the programs to scam.

According to the entity, several forms of deception have been identified that affect the population in different regions of the country, offering to enroll them in the basic solidarity income or pension bonus, heading to the Pilar Solidario, to Colombia Mayor, and even to other programs such as Citizen Income and Young Income.
“Unscrupulous people are requesting personal data, copies of documents and even money, with the false promise of linking them to the entity’s social offering,” highlighted the document.
Additionally, some citizens have reported receiving messages through WhatsApp, emails, social media, and text messages; as well as calls and printed forms, with which misleading registrations for the entity’s programs are offered.

According to the information issued by Social Prosperity, people should keep in mind that the entity does not request money or personal information such as passwords or account numbers.
