Education Directorate puts emphasis on the five-year budget project
The General Directorate of Education of the Municipality of Cerro Largo includes very varied areas since under this area there are also Traffic, Municipal Police, Tourism, Culture and Animal Welfare among others.
Beyond the specific work that has been done since mid-July when the Morel Administration began, these days the focus is on the preparation of the five-year budget that must be submitted to the Departmental Board before the end of the year.
“For me it is new. We expressed it when they made the proposal to us from Liceo 2 that we experienced it as something very interesting for the Municipality. It came to fruition, today it is a reality, this week 2 of the face-to-face courses already began, this Thursday another one began and also the virtual one that will reach the Municipalities of all of Cerro Largo” highlighted the Teacher Lucy Larrosa.
“We are talking about around 100 Municipalities who will be accessing this training, which is also certified” accurate. “They will receive a diploma certified by Secondary School” he added.
MANY ACTIVITIES
The Director of Education of the Morel Administration highlighted the work that her team has been doing.
“We have people who have put on the shirt, but the most interesting of all is that the most important thing is the coordination with other institutions” he remarked.
“We use a lot the concept that the changes began and that these changes are between everyone. This is the proof. The weekend there was a lot of articulation, presence of many institutions” he said regarding Heritage weekend.
“This is how we are going to continue working. In some way it is also the profile of the Mayor, also ours. We have been working within the Municipality for 20 years and articulation with the institutions has always been our hallmark. We believe a lot in that, we are convinced that this is the way we work, therefore, we are very grateful for all the doors that are opened.” Larrosa pointed out.
THE FIVE-YEAR BUDGET
“Each of the Directorates has a lot of activity, in each one we feel that they are working very well. We have been in management for a little less than 90 days and we are extremely satisfied” manifested to THE DIARY PROFESSIONAL.
“Planning and work is being done in each of the areas” he assured. “The biggest challenge we have now is putting together the budget because that is where we project everything we want to do in the five-year period” express. “We are in that, but we are also planning with great desire, with great will, generating those changes that can be made with human resources because we all know the economic situation of the Municipality. We are demonstrating that things are not done with money alone, but that the most important thing is the commitment of the people. He highlighted that the population has also understood that things cannot be done based on money alone. “This was demonstrated with the agreement that we signed with the Liceo 2. This is an articulation that allows there to be no expenditure on the part of the Municipality. We are gaining a lot because this training is going to greatly improve the management of the Municipality. The high school contributes to us from its computer rooms and its teachers.
