Hato Mayor.– The National Police reported the capture of a man of Haitian nationality accused of murdering his ex-partner in the municipality The Valleyprovince Greater Herd.
The detainee was identified as Anorld Volcy45, who was actively wanted for his alleged involvement in the death of Moselene Lorence42 years old, also Haitian. The victim’s body was found last Tuesday, October 7 in scrublands of the La Piñita sector.
Passionate conflicts
According to authorities, the crime was motivated by passionate conflicts. The arrest was carried out by agents of the Criminal Investigation Division (DICRIM) and members of the Preventive Police, as part of the investigations to clarify the incident.

During the operation, Volcy was seized a bag, two mobile phones and a chargerwhich could form part of the evidence in the case. The accused was transferred to the local police force and made available to the Public Ministry for the corresponding legal purposes.
Police sources indicated that the suspect tried hide in hard-to-reach wooded areas after committing the crime, which complicated its location. However, thanks to intelligence workthe agents managed to find his whereabouts.
The Public Ministry requested preventive detention while the collection of evidence continues, including forensic findings and objects seized during the arrest.
