According to the information, the first Monday of March saw a greater number of requests for mobility services compared to the previous week in the aforementioned time range. The main growth occurred between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m., a period in which mobility services increased by nearly 30%.
For its part, between 6:00 and 7:00 there was an increase in services in the capital of 24%; while, between 8:00 am and 9:00 am, the growth was 17%. Throughout the day, the behavior of the services of the mobility companies normalized.
“This result was in line with the entry time of the students to their schools. We believe that this trend will continue in the coming weeks and could even increase as more schools start classes”said Fausto Liñan, City Operations Manager at Beat.
When do face-to-face classes start in Peru?
The Minister of Education, Rosendo Serna, stressed that the process of returning to face-to-face classes continues as scheduled and that, in some schools in the country, students will return on March 14 and 21, that is, before the scheduled date. (28th March).
