Start in January health registration for medical care regardless of affiliation

Next January a registration of the population will begin to the National Health System, through which a credential will be granted to the right holders of IMSS, ISSSTE and IMSS-Bienestar, President Claudia Sheinbaum announced.

The objective, he said, is to facilitate the possibility that in the case of some diseases, a person can be indistinct in any of these institutions from 2027.

The registration in this registry will be the first step so that, in the second instance, if people authorize it, the clinical history between the three main health organizations can be shared, which would favor the new option to be addressed in any of the institutions, regardless of which it belongs to.

On the other hand, the president said that the welfare programs that are in charge of the Secretariat of the Navy in the south-southeast of the country are advancing, and it is projected that they can enter into operation at the beginning of 2026. He argued that this is part of an economic model based on a vision of moral economy and Mexican humanism.

When abounding in the message to the country he offered this Sunday at the end of his tour of the 32 entities on the occasion of his first government report, he also expressed confidence that in the coming months there will be commercial agreements with the United States, Canada and Europe. Similarly, he estimated that he can advance in conversations in this area with China and other Asian nations, which will allow more certainty about the economy in 2026.

In La Mañanera, Sheinbaum commented that this year he began with the great works. “Next year, above all, employment will grow very importantly, for public and private investment.”

In economic matters, he said, there is a strategic plan of works that cover passenger, roads, ports and airports that, when entering an intensive construction phase, will generate more jobs.

He stressed that in other cases, such as Pemex’s works and the Federal Electricity Commission, which are required in the energy sector, have a medium -term horizon, as they will be transsexenal projects.
