Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Association of Lands and Farmers (ADHA) will celebrate the XXXIV Delivery of the Medal of Merit Honor, one of the most prestigious awards in the national agricultural sector.
The event will be attended by President Luis Abinader, the Minister of Agriculture, Limber Cruz, as well as prominent personalities of the country’s agricultural, business and institutional sector, reaffirming the importance of this award as a space for meeting and valuation to the work of the Dominican field.
In this edition, awards will be awarded in the tobacco cultivation lines, coffee cultivation, poultry farming, agribusiness, meat livestock, fruit and vegetable, rice cultivation, pig farming, agricultural innovation, steers’ termination, milk livestock and cocoa culture.
Jonathan Rivera, president of the Adha, stressed that this recognition is a symbol of gratitude to those who promote the country’s agricultural development.
He informed that the awards will be held next Thursday, October 16, at the La Fiesta theater of the Jaragua Hotel.
