LThe demand for work in Uruguay contracted 2% in February compared to January 2022after registering 107 job proposals less, according to the survey carried out by the consulting firm Advice, called Labor Monitor.

According to figures released by Monitor Labor Advice, In the public sector, 227 calls were registered during Februarywhile in January there were 234. This means a “slight reduction in the generation of job opportunities in the state”, which stands at 3%. In the year-on-year comparison, demand increased 12%.
80% of calls from the public sector are concentrated in education, health, finance, engineering, industry and administration. The main destination of the calls from the State was Education, with 62 opportunities, which represented 27% of the sector’s demand.
“This activity registered an increase of 14 opportunities compared to the previous monthwhich represents a growth rate of 29%”, explained the consultant.

By zones
