Responsible for about 80% of the capacity of the 3,652 vacancies of the second edition of the Unified National Public Competition (CNU 2025), the Federal District attracted a specific audience. Servers in search of better positions are disputing the race with beginners.
Candidates point to higher salaries than current and workday as attractions to dispute a new selection. The possibility of converting a definitive temporary position also weighs on the decision.

Occupy of a temporary position at the Institute of National Historical and Artistic Heritage (Iphan), the 40 -year -old archaeologist Lívia Blandina arrived about two hours before the gates opened to run for a place in the CNU (Culture and Education) thematic block 2. A native of the interior of Pernambuco, she has lived in Brasilia since last year, when she took over the temporary post.
“As I did another contest last year, I practically finished the race and continued studying,” says Blandina. “I am already adapted to the pace of four -hour study, but specifically for CNU, I have been preparing since July,” he continues.
According to the archaeologist, the biggest difficulty is to study statistics content, charged in the Block 2 test.

Even public servants with years of career are competing for the 2025 edition of the CNU. Teacher has been agreed for 12 years of the public school system of the Federal District, Rosana Silva, 42, disputes a position in Block 5 (Administration). According to her, the lack of prospects for career growth and the fact that he often takes work home convinced her to try a place in the federal government.
“I have been a teacher since I was 30 and I teach Portuguese to 200 students. I have a lot of writing to correct at home. In fact, I work more at home than in the classroom,” he says.
With time to study only on weekends and holidays, she makes a cram online and intends to continue preparing to be a servant of the judiciary, regardless of whether or not she passes the CNU.
Rosana Silva also complains about the lack of professional appreciation of the teacher and a solid career plan in the public network. “I have specialization and masters and earn R $ 8 thousand liquids per month. A doctoral teacher receives in the range of $ 13,000 liquids. It seems a lot to the majority of the population, but it is little to the teacher studies and prepares,” he says.
Mathematics
The second stage of CNU also attracts the traditional audience of non -public servants in search of a professional opportunity. Newly graduated in law, 32-year-old Fabiano Schelb, dreams of working in a court. He intends to take advantage of the predominance of law content in Block 7 (Justice and Defense) to try a place in the executive branch while, like Rosana, he is preparing to enter the judiciary.
“Who studied law naturally takes an advantage,” believes Schelb, who arrived at the University Center at Asa Norte, in Brasilia, around 10:50 am. He says the experience in the first edition of CNU last year helped him, but warns of difficulties with mathematics issues.
“Last year, I went well in the content of law and Portuguese. But I only hit two mathematics questions, which I didn’t know would be charged that way. This year, I’m better prepared,” says the newly graduated.
