The blackouts, crime, unfair competition of the Chinese And the inclusion in pension plans are some of the problems that affect the detailed sector, said yesterday the new president of the National Federation of Detail Merchants of Provisions (FENACODEP), Héctor Julio Nieves.
After being sworn as president of Fenacodep during an act held at the Barceló Hotel, Nieves, who replaced Domingo Colón SilverioHe explained that the blackouts have generated losses in the detailed sector, especially in refrigerated products, although he acknowledged that in recent days there has been an improvement in electric service.

He stressed that most of the businesses that are in some neighborhoods have had to install metal gates to be able to operate more safely, due to crime. He sued more patrol to protect the detailed merchants of the thieves.
He criticized that the unfair competition of Chinese merchants affects the detailed sector in some lines, so the authorities must follow the operations against Chinese businesses that do not comply with Dominican laws.
He highlighted the marketing need for products in the country is carried out through detailed merchants, which would come cheaper to consumers.
He asked the Government to take into account retail merchants for the commercialization of imported products when there is deficit in national production.
He supported that retailers are included in the SUPERATE CARD benefits.
