TSJ approved extradition of a homicidal policeman

The Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice supports the request for extradition raised by Venezuela to Brazil to give them a police officer requested by a homicide. Such a decision is contained in Judgment 560 drafted by Judge Maikel Moreno and validates by his colleagues in the Criminal Chamber, Elsa Gómez and Carmen Marisela Castro.

The required police officer is identified as Misael Abraham Goliot Rivero, who was arrested in Cascavel, Paraná, Brazil, last August.

The facts for which Goliot Rivero is required by Venezuelan justice occurred on April 8, 2019 in the Los Robles sector, the Sorocaima neighborhood, Los Jardines del Valle, Caracas. The morning of that day, officials assigned to the Directorate against Organized Crime of the Special Actions Force (FAES), of the Bolivarian National Police, were carrying out patrol work in the aforementioned Caracas sector.

And in the midst of that deployment, agent Goliot Rivero, “aggressively and without mediating any word, abusing his police officer, operated his gun Pistola brand Prieto Beretta, model 92f5, against the humanity of the citizen Ángel Gabriel Camero Martínez, 18 years of age ‘, as read in the sentence of the TSJ.

The victim received two bullet impacts: thorax and rear face from the left thigh, “evidence Police. ”

The following year of that fact, Goliot Rivero fled to Brazil. Meanwhile, on October 21, 2021, the 25th Caracas Court of Control decreed order of apprehension against Goliot Rivero with a view to being prosecuted for the alleged commission of the homicide crimes qualified with alevosía and for futile reasons, omission of relief, improper use of organic weapon and simulation of punishable fact.

And after knowing the arrest of the subject in Brazil, the Public Ministry activated the extradition process, which was approved on September 4 by the aforementioned Control Court from which they sent the file to the Criminal Chamber.

The magistrates found that all the requirements for extradition are met and consequently declared it appropriate, as published last Thursday.

Virolo’s partner fell in Maicao

Another decision of the Criminal Chamber related to extradition procedure is reflected in Judgment 561 published last Thursday.

Through that sentence, the magistrates support the extradition of Ronaldo José Urdaneta Rivas, captured in Maicao, Colombia. Urdaneta Rivas is listed as a member of the criminal structure founded by Jorge David Fernández (El Virolo) and who participated in two attacks on the company CLAM facilities, located in the Cañada de Urdaneta (Zulia), where they burned four trucks between April and May last. Hence, the subject would be judged in Venezuela by extortion, association to commit crimes and obstruction to freedom of commerce, says the judgment of the Criminal Chamber.
