As they said, everyone committed themselves “To tell a truth that will surprise Colombia” and that would point to renowned politicians as “accomplices” of various acts of violence.

“We have met with the 16 peace managers and they have promised to tell the truth; a truth that I am sure is going to amaze Colombia, especially to the true political class that was with them in the establishment and that, in addition, was complicit of several deaths that occurred at that time”, Said Benedetti.
The chief of the political portfolio added that “Many of those actors who were part of that violence today are still in force or are newcomers to the political sceneand it is important that the country know what kind of criminals they are. ”
For its part, the director of the DAPRE indicated that this institution, together with the Ministry of Interior and the Office of the High Commissioner for La Paz, is appointed to lead the closure of the process with the ancient self -defense groups.
“The idea is that the country knows the truth of what happened during the confrontations, within the framework of the justice and peace process. When we do the official installation of the event there will be more actors in the state. We understand the dimension of what this process means,” he said.
