More than a dozen agents of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) broke out of mistake of a servant of the Judiciary and a tourist police officer (Politur), in a new city, in a confusing operation that left as a balance a shattered door, terrified neighbors and the dignity of an affected family without any justification.
The deployment of force, qualified by residents as an “abusive apparatus”, generated panic among the occupants of the house, as well as in neighbors and passers -by who observed with stupor the way in which the anti -narcotics agency acted without due certainty or procedural care required by law.
The incident occurred on Friday on Beller Street under a strong apparatus of the members of the anti -narcotics agency, an action that brought together many neighbors in the environment, who condemned that unjustified action.
DNCD protocols for repeated errors in unjust raids and arrests demand
According to those affected, the agents were looking for an individual who lives in the same building, but by mistake they broke the door of another home, exposing working and recognized people in their community as honest and without links with illegal activities.
The situation not only caused outrage and shame among the neighbors, but also left those affected with the public escarnio brand, despite being exemplary officials who have nothing to do with the improper behavior of third parties. Those affected refused to be identified, but in the sector all people have them as exemplary citizens.
After the folly, the agents promised to repair the material damage, although the moral footprint and the trauma caused to the family can hardly be remedied with simple words.
Politur’s own agent, a victim of the outrage, tried to handle the incident in the most discreet and peaceful way possible, avoiding a greater confrontation with the actors.
However, community organizations and critical voices recalled that this is not an isolated event: the DNCD has been questioned multiple times by poorly executed operations, errors in raids and arrests that have even led innocent people to prison, in some cases due to negligence and in others under suspicions of intentionality.
Citizenship claims to review the DNCD action protocols.
