The Hague Group, which Petro proposed the call for the world strike, was created last January by Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Honduras, Malaysia, Namibia, Senegal and South Africa in response to the serious humanitarian crisis in Gaza and committed, among other things, to enforce the arrest orders issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamín Netanyahu, for war crimes.
