Lima, Peru – Three people died on Friday afternoon due to the impact of lightning in the Moa municipality, Holguín province. The electric shock, which occurred at the entrance of the place known as Cupey, also left several injured.

The deceased were identified as Leonel Velázquez Legrá, 34, a neighbor of the Armando Mestre cast in Moa; Eniolquis Romero Torres, 33, residence in Guama, Baracoa; and Lázaro Rodríguez Peña, 36, a resident of Holguín.
“I was going to my house and began to rain and making electric shocks and a group of people got under an awning that had close to the road. We got there to hate ourselves from rain and thunder,” said Yrelemis Ortiz del Rosario, resident of Meo and one of the survivors.

Ortiz del Rosario tried to join, but although he managed to hold, he could not walk. Where I was on the road there was a distance of about 100 meters and it was crawling with just one hand. The other arm was silenced and had almost no strength, he remembers.
“While on the road, a car has already picked us up, it brought us here straight to the hospital. But it was a hard experience, because seeing a few people lying on the floor who did not respond, who took his pulse and did not feel him, ”said the survivor.
In addition to Ortiz del Rosario, who suffered from numbness in his limbs and managed to be stabilized before offering his testimony, three other injured were identified.
The injured reported are Yuxander Robles Robles, a neighbor of the Jobo in Sagua de Tánamo, with tremors in the body, and numbness in the feet (already stabilized); Dantry Revé Quiala, resident in Sagua de Tánamo, presented scoriations in the left knee and the right ankle (already stabilized); and Lisbeth Pajan Silot, neighbor of Moa, who lost knowledge and had scoriations in the eyes (still receives attention).
