The National Police arrested a man accused of shooting a witness in the vicinity of the Palace of Justice of San Francisco de Macorís, Duarte province.
The detainee was identified as Richy Alberto Hernández22, resident in the National District, Santo Domingo.
His capture occurred while traveling aboard a vehicle along the main avenue of the municipality of Jaquimeyes, in the Barahona province. The arrest was made by agents of the Intelligence Department (Dintel).

According to the preliminary report, Hernández is indicated as the alleged perpetrator of the homicide of Luis Gustavo d’Ozaknown as “Nini”, which occurred last August 26, 2025 near the Palace of Justice of San Francisco de Macorís.
The defendant was transferred in custody to the corresponding jurisdiction, where he will be submitted to the legal processes contemplated by law.
