An official of that commune indicated that although the legislator made a voluntary restitution of the invaded area – struck more because of the criticisms he received after a report of the Fourth Power program that exposed the invasion – it turns out that there is a missing 66 square meters that coins still occupies illegally and has not returned to the commune. The Apepista had taken 118 square meters of that public space improperly.
After the complaint was revealed last July, the sister of the OPP owner, far from becoming aware of her bad action, threatened the mayor of that district Carlos Bruce to file a trial against him if he did not rectify.
The legislator explained that the space he occupied from Park 17 responded to an agreement that the residents of the area had filed with the previous mayor and that Bruce was not respected that treatment. The commune even imposed a fine for Acuña for this action.
The journalistic report detected 11 groove parks invaded by 213 lots. The Municipality granted a period of 45 days to the offenders to remove illegal constructions or fences, or will proceed to demolish the invaded areas.
Once the term was expired, the commune began this morning to recover these undue occupations in the different parks of the jurisdiction. It even proceeded to tear down a fence in the area still occupied by Acuña and that did not return and in the next few hours of demolishing the missing.
In this first stage, 29 lots of parks 16, 17, 18, 21 and 22 were intervened; 14 of these were voluntarily removed. With the other 15, heavy machinery had to be resorted to comply with the municipal provision.

Acuña would also have invaded a public space of the district of Pimentel, in Chiclayo, of approximately 150 square meters, according to the local municipality since 2022.
