The morning of this Friday, the Central Highway was once again the scene of a serious traffic accident. At kilometer 167,100, in the jurisdiction of the oroya, three heavy transport vehicles starred in a multiple shock that left several injured passengers.

The incident began when an interprovincial bus of the Imperial Company, of A4S-962 plate, which covered the Tarma-Lima route under Mario Chávez Falconi (59), impacted frontally against a BHI-826 plate trailer truck, driven by Joseas Laura de la Cruz (32). Minutes later, a second trailer, of B8G-733 plate and managed by Jesús Ricce Huaricapcha (32), joined the collision.

The violent clash left the bus driver trapped in the cabin, while several of his passengers suffered bruises. Transporters that circulated in the area helped in the first rescue tasks before the arrival of the authorities.
