In a maritime patrol carried out by the Bolivarian National Police Corps (PNB) in Aguas de Delta Amacuro, the arrest of two subjects allegedly linked to human trafficking was achieved.
The information was disseminated by the Ministry for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace through its Telegram account, where they detailed that after this operation the rescue of seven people who were deceptive to Trinidad and Tobago was achieved.
This group of people had been captured under false promises and was in transit over foreign territory without documentation or guarantees.
The victims were in high vulnerability conditions and once rescued were treated by the competent authorities and transferred to the safe port.
In order to guarantee the peace and shelter of national sovereignty, the State Security Bodies remain in constant patrol and monitoring, with the objective to end the mafias dedicated to drug trafficking, threats and any type of illegal activity that criminal gangs intend to exercise over the nation.
