Such an amount of drug intended to be admitted, hidden in bugles and power band, to different flights to European countries
Until now there are 12 kilos 415 grams of cocaine seized at the Simón Bolívar International Airport located in Maiquetía, La Guaira state.
The information was ventilated on the social networks of General in Chief Domingo Hernández Lárez, who is in charge of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB).
Such a number of drugs has tried to be admitted, hidden in bugles and power bank, to different flights to European countries. The traffic of that drug has been frustrated by the intervention of troops of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) in procedures executed on August 19, 21 and 23, Hernández Lárez explained in its publication, where it is specified that the product of these actions has been captured six subjects of Colombian nationality.
In this last procedure, Hernández Lárez explained that the military personnel arrested a Colombian who intended to take a flight to Istanbul, but when his bag was subjected to review the officials located three mini cocaine wrappers hidden in a sound bug and two Power Bank.
The head of the CEOFANB says in his report that after the interrogation made to the detainee they located two other Colombians at the Brisas del Mar Hotel, located in La Guaira, seized seven Power Bank and a bugle where they hid cocaine wrappers, with an approximate weight of 2,186 kilos. In total there were 3 kilos 18 grams of cocaine seized to three Colombians who were arrested.
Hernández Lárez stressed that this last procedure is related to those made on August 19, 21 and 23.
