Santa Clara, Cuba. – A fire caused by the explosion of a liquefied gas cylinder at the Brisas del Mar Hotel in Caibarién, this Wednesday, left the balance of three injured people, according to The information published by the Cuban News Agency (UNHCR).
The installation, which belongs to the Gastronomy Commerce and the services is located a few meters from the beach area of this municipality.
The three affected by the incident are installation workers: one of them held the position of administrator and the other two worked as chefs. According to the ACN, Dr. Julio Cesar Arosteguí La Rosa, General Director of Health in Caibarién, the injured were transferred to the “María del Carmen Sozaya” hospital to receive first aid.

In the images shared by the local media, the cylinder is seen in front of a fully calcined wall. According to the report replicated by Cubadebatealthough “the fire was extinguished quickly”, the causes of the incident are still investigated. The media did not offer more details or refer to the state of the hotel guests.
