President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and the Minister of Education, Camilo Santana, participate, this Thursday (2), the inauguration of the Afonso Brito Nursery, in Breves, Marajó Island, Pará. The nursery, whose work began in 2011, was paralyzed along with more than 100 works in the region, according to the Ministry of Education (MEC). 
The agenda, scheduled to start at 10am, will be Lula’s first appointment in the region. Then, the president visits the Breves Orla, where he participates in the works ceremony in the Education Sector, funded with resources from the National Education Development Fund (FNDE), a federal authority linked to MEC.
After the commitments in Marajó, Lula goes to Belém, where he will visit works related to the preparation of the capital of Para to host the United Nations Conference on Climate Change, COP30, which takes place next month. At 4:30 pm, the president gives the works of Porto Futuro II, cultural and leisure complex in the completion phase. He must travel the Amazon Museum, a space dedicated to valuing biome science and technology that will house the photographer’s “Amazon” exhibition Sebastião Salgadowho died in May this year.
Still at Porto Futuro II, Lula visits the works of the Gastronomic Center and the Bioeconomic and Innovation Park of the Amazon. The space will connect sustainability, cooperation and innovation, generating bionegotive opportunities for the entire Amazon.
On Friday (3), at 9am, the presidential entourage should visit the macrodrainage and urbanization works of the Union Canal. Then, at 10am, Lula will inspect the City Park, headquarters of COP30 events.
In the afternoon, from 1:30 pm, Lula and authorities participate in announcements of new investments in drainage and the inauguration of the New Dock Linear Park. The president and entourage must return to Brasilia.
