USA._ The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 30 in a house located in the 1800 block of Winter Jasmine Lane, where Tavárez received several bullet impacts around 7:21 pm although she was transferred to a local hospital, died hours later due to the seriousness of her wounds.
Police reported that the crime occurred during a domestic dispute. Ureña Morales was arrested that same night and remains in custody without the right to bail.
A video circulates in social networks in which the alleged aggressor is recorded after the fact, saying: “The world that forgives me, I have failed”.

According to preliminary information, Josefina Tavárez was originally from La Joya, in San Francisco de Macorís, while the defendant comes from Villa la Mata, Cotuí.
