Earthquake details
The first movement occurred at 3:27 am, with magnitude 2.8 and depth of 66.9 km, 10 km to Northeast of Barinas.
Two minutes later, at 3:29 am, there was a second earthquake of magnitude 3.5, with depth of 9.2 km, located 58 km al East of bachaqueroin Zulia.
At 5:25 am there was a third movement, from 3.4, with epicenter 2 km to Southeast of Carorain Lara, and depth of 34.1 km.
The room occurred at 6:40 am, with magnitude 3.7, depth of 9.2 km and epicenter at 43 km to West of Carora.
The most recent occurred at 7:06 am, with magnitude 4.2, depth of 33.8 km and epicenter at 13 km to Northeast of Carorain Lara.
Funvisis reports 70 tremors in four days
In just four days, about 70 earthquakes have been recorded in the west of Venezuela, With epicenters located mainly in Bachaquero (Zulia), in addition to localities in Trujillo, Lara (Carora) and reports in Táchira.
The phenomenon has been classified as a seismic swarmbecause the activity is not limited to an isolated event, but to a string of movements and replicas that since September 24 keep the authorities alert.
The populations of the CEIBA and Bachaquero concentrate the greatest amount of earthquakes in Venezuela Since Wednesday, with magnitudes that have exceeded three degrees on the Richter scale, according to Funvisis reports. The activity has also reached states in the center of the country.
