The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, participated in the Conference for the African Week of Energy 2025, where she expressed in her speech that Africa should be positioned as the World Champion of Historical Morality of Resistencia, in front of the colonialist powers of yesterday and the neocolonialists of today and urged to work for a single energy force of the peoples. “We cannot have a global north and a global south with such marked, so deep gaps, marking an energy inequality,” he emphasized.
He highlighted this magnanimous event for the energy capacity of Africa, for being a continent that represents a “7.8 % of world reserves, 8 % of the daily production of oil”, which makes this event important “for the dialogue between investors, business, government sectors” in order to enhance a route “to enhance the energy capacities of Africa.”
