Cicpc agents-El Hat arrested three criminals responsible for the homicide and theft of Rafael Antonio González Arévalo (52), the Scientific Police reported.
The detainees were identified as Samuel Isaías Naraz Páez (19), José Luis Jaramillo Berroyeta (19) and Darwin Eduardo Pino Canelón (18), captured in the Tigüigüe sector, Ortiz Parish, Ortiz Municipality, Guárico state.
The investigations revealed that the incident occurred in the early hours of September 4 on the El Hat-Dos Roads National Highway, when the criminals entered a farm with the intention of stealing. The victim, who was in charge of the place, opposed the assault. In the struggle, the three attackers subjected him and killed him with a mecrate tied around his neck, and then simulate suicide, says the report.
After committing the crime, the criminals stole several objects of property value and fled. The field work of the officials managed to determine the participation of the three criminals in the event, who were put to the order of the 21st Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry, says the minute.
