During a new session of the Regional Council, the Bogotá – Cundinamarca Metropolitan Region (RMBC) formalized the incorporation of the municipality of Fusagasugá to the territorial associativity scheme. With this adhesion, the municipality adds to Bogotá, Cundinamarca and Soacha.
Integration will allow Fusagasugá to access resources and technical accompaniment for the execution of joint projects oriented to food security and citizen security. The linking process began on March 28, 2025, and after a series of debates, public hearings and approval in the municipal council, it was officially completed during this council session.
