The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, said that the recent General Assembly of the United Nations Organization (UN) evidenced the emergence of a new era in international relations, marked by the consolidation of a multipolar world that rejects the imposition of hegemonic powers.
“The change of time is very noticeable. A new era is consolidating, the era of a multipolar world that does not accept mandate from any country that is trying to impose as a power,” said the head of state, referring to the little support that received the aggression discourse pronounced by the president of the United States, Donald Trump.
He pointed out that the American Empire is going through a deep social crisis, characterized by what it calls “the pandemic of violence”, and that its attempts to impose worldwide hegemony through the trade of the commercial war have failed. “Now, by means of direct military threat, I think it will be worse, because humanity wants peace,” he added.
In that context, he also referred to the rejection received by the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamín Netanyahu, during his UN speech. “He went to speak at the UN, to say that he will exterminate all those who need to exterminate. Hitler spoke without a mustache,” Maduro denounced, noting that the auditorium was practically empty and that his speech was ignored by most of those present.
Also, President Maduro celebrated the isolation of the so -called Lima group, in addition to pointing out that “the choir of countries that achieved with the Lima group does not exist. Because even the most outraged presidents did not pronounce against Venezuela.”
Finally, he warned about the provocations in the southern sea of China, where threats against the Asian nation are created as part of a global confrontation strategy. “Everyone is looking for peace and cooperation.”
