The Public Ministry reported the arrest of a man and a woman carrying high caliber ammunitions and two grenades in the Zulia state.
According to a post published by the MP on their social networks, the authorities made the confiscation of “90 high caliber ammunition and 2 grenades for illicit marketing”
The subjects were identified as Jorge García, who will be charged with the crime of arms and ammunition trafficking, and Fabiana Valera, for the crime of resistance to authority to hinder the detention.

In another fact, the Prosecutor’s Office stressed that the sentence for 24 years in prison for Efraín Montiel, Domingo Hernández, Wuilmen Ollarves, Rafael López and Raikerson Lugo was achieved, for the crimes of illegal traffic aggravated of narcotic and psychotropic substances and association to commit crimes
The investigation showed that these criminals were aboard a boat trying to transfer 519 panelas of alleged drugs called cocaine, “causing serious damage to the public health of the people,” said the MP.
The Public Ministry works together with the security personnel to end drug trafficking in the region and issue a sentence to those who intend to damage Venezuela.
