Nicolás Maduro said that actions in the country are not improvised: “We have plans, answers and will to face what comes.” He emphasized that stability is defended with preparation, union and love for life
Nicolás Maduro said that “Venezuela is awake, organized and prepared to face any eventuality, be it natural, geopolitical or hybrid.” These statements were offered in his telegram account one day after a nationwide drill was held to attend emergencies for natural situations or “armed conflict.”
The drill in charge of Civil Protection and firefighters and other agencies in the country was carried out after several earthquakes were produced in the country in recent days and after the military deployment of the United States in the Caribbean.
Maduro took advantage of the participation of Venezuelans, who said was “massive,” congratulated them and said that “the articulation between the people and the State is our greatest strength.”
According to Nicolás Maduro, actions in the country are not improvised: “We have plans, answers and will to face what comes” and emphasized that stability is defended with preparation, union and love for life.
On Saturday, September 27, more than 400 instructional points were deployed throughout the country for a National Civil Protection drill. Interior Minister, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, urged Venezuelans to be prepared “In case of any contingency, either natural or caused.”
*Journalism in Venezuela is exercised in a hostile environment for the press with dozens of legal instruments arranged for the punishment of the word, especially the laws “against hatred”, “against fascism” and “against blockade.” This content was written taking into consideration the threats and limits that, consequently, have been imposed on the dissemination of information from within the country.
