Venezuela carried out a day of patriotic and voluntary consciousness with the realization of the national simulation against natural disasters and armed conflicts of preparation of the people, with the central objective of strengthening life and peace through popular, military and police merger before any eventuality.
This was reported by the Deputy Minister for Risk Management, Juan Carlos Oti, in an interview conducted in Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), where he stressed that the day faced different challenges and skills to teach the population already enlisted to act before natural or anthropic events, articulating this work with the peace quadrants and the five thousand 33 communal circuits nationwide.
Similarly, he explained that the drill was designed to cover a wide emergency spectrum and remember the people what to do and how to face an emergency situation, emphasizing basic first aid can be crucial to save a life on a day -to -day basis.

In the interview, the Deputy Minister highlighted the response to the simulation of the Falla de Menegrande, which generated simulated affectations in the Zulia and Lara states. The vice minister said that, thanks to the preparation worked with the communal circuits and the civic-military-political fusion, neither a injured one was recorded in these simulated events.
National scope and diversity of events
The Deputy Minister, Juan Carlos Oti also explained that during the day, 411 simulated events were executed at the national level, with the participation of about 11,977 members between the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the citizen security bodies and covered a diversity of situations.
He also mentioned that the year extended to the basic state companies (such as PDVSA, Cantv, Corpoelec) and was led by the governors and mayors in the 24 states, strengthening the capacity to respond articulated throughout the country.
