Argentina writer Dolores Reyes is the interviewee of the program Conversation with the author that Radio MEC broadcasts this Sunday (28), at 12:30 pm. Conducted by journalist Katy Navarro, the chat was recorded during the 2025 International Paraty Literary Party (Flip), in which Dolores participated as one of the most important feminine names in the current Latin American literature.
During the program, the writer talked about the two publications that are making readers hold their breath and be surprised by the stories and characters: “Cometerra” and “Misery”. Dolores’ books deal with femicide, gender violence, maternity and social issues in the Argentine peripheries.
Born in Buenos Aires in 1978, Dolores Reyes (photo) is a teacher, feminist activist and has seven children. His writing combines lyricism and social denunciation, capturing the daily life of women affected by structural violence. The author’s narrative gives voice to silenced stories that are on the fringes of Argentine society and challenges social and political conventions through the art of fiction.
