The mayor of Lima, Rafael López Aliagahas declared that the United States government, through its State Department, will file a formal complaint against the Management of President Dina Boluarte.
According to the mayor, the reason for the complaint is that trains donated by a “Pituca Zone” of California, Silicon Valley, are not being used and remain stored, which considers a “very serious insult.”
López Aliaga said that, during his visit to the United States, in the State Department he was clearly informed that they would send a complaint letter.
The mayor of Lima said that despite having received a donation of trains, the Peruvian government has not given them, which generates a bad image for the management of Boluarte. The mayor’s statement highlights a possible diplomatic conflict due to the alleged lack of action of the Peruvian government to implement the donation.
