Diosdado Cabello, sector vice president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, urged Venezuelans to be prepared “in case of any contingency, either natural or caused.”
He recalled that natural events can be rains, floods, earthquakes, among others, and pointed out that they are later «the events promoted by the hand of man, for example, an attack against Venezuela, a caused fire, explosions caused. You have to be prepared, alerts, slopes ».
Cabello insisted that all citizens should know first aid to help another in what they need and highlighted the participation of civil protection members (PC) and firefighters in this drill to act in situations. On the other hand, he invited young people to register in these programs at the National Experimental Security University (UNES).
“We prepare for that, so that if tomorrow there is an event caused to harm the people, we are able to react firmly, with controlled nerves, because that is another of the things that happens,” he emphasized.

From Higuerote, in Miranda state, also the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace insisted that emergency care should not distinguish between political colors. He also pointed out that preparation is necessary because not all people react the same to contingencies.
The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, participated in the drill together with the workers of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) and congratulated them for the deployment and commitment “with the defense of the sovereignty and stability of Venezuelans.”
