The complaints were disseminated in a video posted by the ‘minutes60’. In the material, Employees point out that they develop their work amid moisture, presence of pigeons of pigeons and bad odors due to the lack of maintenance in bathrooms and common areas.

It was also indicated that three union members have presented health problems related to respiratory conditions, attributed to sanitary conditions. The situation has been aggravated by the fall of ceilings affected by pigeons and the rains.
The workers said they feel unattended by the entity’s direction. As expressed in the video, The director’s office is isolated from the rest of the staffwhich, according to the complainants, prevents the conditions in which the most deteriorated areas of the building are first hand.

The Bogotá Councilor, Heidy Sánchezadded to the complaints through the social network X (formerly Twitter), where he supported the requests of the Sintraidiger union. In its publication, he affirmed that the headquarters presents leaks, strong odors, asbestos tiles and vector presence, noting that workers have reported dizziness, headaches and respiratory problemsand that do not have personal protective equipment, transport or basic maintenance at the main headquarters, aspects that, according to their complaint, have not received attention for more than a year.
Sanchez also indicated that the entity is going through administrative difficulties. According to the lobbyist, Idiger’s budget execution reaches only 36.5%located among the lowest in the city. He also denounced the existence of a “parallel payroll” formed by contractors without sufficient technical experience, which would be affecting the fulfillment of the mission functions of the Institute and relegating career staff.

Internal psychosocial evaluations indicate the existence of elevated occupational hazards, with reports related to harassment, violence at work and organizational disorder. According to Sánchez, three subdirections have remained without property, which has generated labor overload and affected institutional continuity.
The lobbyist called on the mayor, Carlos Fernando Galán, to review the permanence of the current director and take measures aimed at guaranteeing adequate working conditions.
