A group of interprovincial transporters reached the headquarters of the Junín Regional Government to reject the signed agreements between urban transport authorities and guilds. The tension rose when one of the protesters tried to chain at the door of the institution, generating struggles with security personnel and workers.

Interprovincials ensure that the agreed inspection act will only apply against them and not against the premises, which they consider a discriminatory measure that puts their work at risk. “They want to disappear, we ask for equality in the inspection,” said a carrier who participated in the protest.
One of the company Gran Group said that they have all authorizations in order and demanded that current regulations be respected.

Despite the discomfort, the Regional Government stressed that the agreements seek to order transport in Junín and that the inspections will reach urban, interurban and interprovincials equally. In addition, a new meeting was established with all the unions for October 10, where progress will be evaluated.
