Santo Domingo. – President Luis Abinader declared official grief this Friday, September 26, due to the death of Guillermo Caram Herreraoutstanding Dominican economist and politician which performed important public functions in the Dominican state and assumed high responsibilities in the Nation’s party system.
The decision is contained in Decree 559-25, which also instructsl Ministry of Defense Render the corresponding military honors.
Caram Herrera, who died this Thursday, September 25, served as governor of the Central Bank of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic between September 1989 and 1990.
