The president of the Independent Revolutionary Party (PRI), Trajano Santana, considered it essential that President Luis Abinader do and a government restructuring to make more efficient areas such as the electrical system, health and education.
“President Abinader, trying to bring the country to fruition and its officials go for another, emphasizing their personal aspirations for the 2028 elections,” he said.
He said that there is a sensation in broad sectors of the Dominican population that the country is “like a drift ship”, in various aspects.
“The current deterioration of the electrical system, characterized by the constant and prolonged blackouts, slows the country’s productivity,” he said.

“In Punta Catalina there are many things that are not seen, but, the solution is clear and is easier. The government hires training technicians to solve the problems of that plant,” he said.
“The national productive sectors merit of a stable, abundant and cheap electric production, in order to get ahead with their businesses,” he said.
He also considered that the Dominican population deserves to sleep peacefully, with a fan or an air conditioning, but the blackouts do not allow it.
