The Minister of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), Ángel Manero, announced that on October 10 the project contract will be signed Majes Siguas II between its portfolio and the government of Japan.
During the inauguration of the Refinement Platform of the company Intical, of the Gloria Group, the official took the opportunity to make the announcement that will benefit the Arequipa region and the country in general.
Additionally, he pointed out that the Regional Government of Arequipa and the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC) will sign the agreement for the project of the port of Corío. A megaport that will allow southern Peru to become a commercial hub at the South American level.
The same way, this importance of the political will and the local actors were alled for, so that both Majes Siguas II and the port of Corío are achieved for the good of the region.
