Melitón Ortega, spokesman for the parents of young people, informed that since the last meeting of last day 4 “there has been nothing; so this protest was reached, but the channel is open to continue working with President Claudia Sheinbaum, because at least until today we do not see that it is speeding up to have a specific response.”
FECSM contingents arrived in Chilpancingo shortly after 11 in the morning, from the Normal de Tixtla in support of the collective of mothers and fathers of the 43, and went to the México-Acapulco Sun highway, at the height of the point known as the marquis hostel.
On that site, on December 12, 2011, students Jorge Alexis Herrera Pino and Gabriel Echeverría de Jesús were executed by federal and ministerial police.
During the rally, the defender explained that the objectives of this day of struggle agreed in the Popular National Assembly, which began last day 17, and for Guerrero concludes Tuesday in the city of Iguala, “is to continue spreading the case and demand the presentation with the life of the 43 missing students, because we have no response so far.”
He said the mobilizations will continue and “the next day we will be in Mexico City.”
