Yesterday there was an emotional day in the Senate, since a tribute was made to the 15 parliamentarians who leave their functions this Friday, March 11.
Each of them had a farewell speech, highlighting the deeds they did during their years as parliamentarians. In addition, they also thanked their families, voters, work teams, and congressional officials.
The 15 senators who are leaving Parliament agreed that dialogue is important to reach the agreements that the country needs.
Parliamentarians leaving the Upper House
By political party, the Independent Democratic Union (UDI) sees four senators leave: Ena von Baer, Claudio Alvarado, Alejandro Garcia Huidobro and Jacqueline van Rysselberghe.

Meanwhile, the list of the Socialist Party is made up of three parliamentarians: Rabindranath Quinteros, Carlos Montes and John Paul Letelier.

While the Christian Democrats (DC) fired two senators: Jorge Pizarro and Carolina Goic.
? “The sense of urgency is what has to prevail in this parliament, the urgency regarding citizen issues, perhaps that would greatly facilitate our discussions”, assured the senator @carolinagoic in the special farewell session of his legislative term.

The Party for Democracy (PPD) also says goodbye to two members of its caucus: adriana munoz and Guido Girardy.
“The Senate is the institution that has tried the most to approach a reflection (…) in 2011 we created the Commission of the Future, which is unique in the world,” said the senator @guidogirardi in the special farewell session of his legislative term.

In turn, the bench also allows two parliamentarians to leave: Alexander Guillier and charles bianchi.

The list closes with the parliamentarian of the late PRO, Alejandro Navarro, and with the senator designated by RN, Marcela Sabat, who came to replace Andrés Allamand.
