The authorities reported on Tuesday about the dismantling of a premises allegedly used as a collection center for storage of illegal drugs and weaponslocated in the Mendoza sector, Santo Domingo Este municipality, during a Joint operation between the National Police and the Public Ministry.
According to a press release, the intervention was carried out in compliance with the search warrant No. 530-2025-EMES-02356, issued by the Permanent Attention Judge of the Judicial District of Santo Domingo, and was in charge of agents of the Central Intelligence Directorate (Dintel), in coordination with representatives of the Public Ministry.
During the operation they were seized:
- A 38 caliber revolver with five capsules
- Two 12 caliber cartridges and a 9mm caliber capsule
- A gock pistol charger and a macana
- Three Pacas
- Several portions
- A glass container with a presumably marijuana vegetable
- Two scales
- Three cell phones
- Two VAPER ELECTRONIC DEVICES
- 15 packages of ziploc type plastic bags
- A marijuana crusher
In addition, 17 presumably false dollars, 46 tickets of 100 Dominican pesos, two notebooks with annotations, others were occupied, others not specified documents and several precious garments.
During the operation, the authorities also reported that they seized a Toyota Tundra Platinum vehicle, 2014, which contained a Secret compartment (Caleta) where 274 packages of a presumably marijuana vegetableduly wrapped in transparent plastic covers with GR Sport and TRD Toyota Racing Development Logos.
A Mitsubishi Mirage vehicle of 2015 was also held, registered in the name of a Haitian citizen. In her glove they found documents, insurance policies and three sleepy earrings. In addition, a Super cat motorcyclemodel GY-250, year 2023.
They look for three alleged involved
The authorities indicate as main responsible for the collection center to three men identified as Yoan Manuel Elenora Gilaka “El Monchy” or “The tableter”; Odany Happy Matos and Santo Rayon, who are until now fugitives.
They also pointed out that all the seized evidence were put under Public Ministry Control For the legal ends corresponding.
