The Industrial Development and Competitiveness Center (Proindustria) was highlighted in the Report of the National Export Zones Council (CNZFE), which confirms the importance of parks under their administration in the generation of direct jobs.
According to the report, to July 2025, these parks registered 22,119 jobs, which represents an increase of 462 new positions compared to July 2024. This growth shows the dynamism of free zones and their role in the creation of labor opportunities and in the strengthening of industrial competitiveness.
CNZFE data show that San Pedro de Macorís concentrates 35.7% of jobs in Proindustry parks, followed by La Vega with 20.5%. Moca, Esperanza and Los Alcarrizos also stand out.
