Bolivia presented at its stand of the 49th International Fair of Santa Cruz (Expocruz 2025), the new Hyundai Crete 2026, the most recent update of the popular sports utility vehicle (SUV) for five passengers. This version comes with a completely renewed design, equipment improvements and a commitment determined by technology, thus consolidating the leadership of the prestigious Korean brand in this competitive segment.
The new Creta, produced in Indonesia, represents the second redesign (Facelift) of the second generation launched in 2020. Hyundai is committed to a qualitative leap in design and connectivity, without losing sight of the mechanical reliability that has historically characterized the model.
Reliable and efficient motorization
Hyundai maintains its reliable 1.5 -liter smartstream propeller, which delivers a power of 113 horsepower (HP) and a 144 nm torque. This engine can be combined with a six -speed manual transmission or a seven -speed automatic type IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission). It has three management modes: Eco, Normal and Sport, which provides efficient driving both in city and on the road.
Sophisticated exterior design and technological interior and comfortable
The new Creta premieres a state -of -the -art parametric mask, accompanied by a frontal light called endless horizon, which is also replicated in the back. This new design language gives it a more modern and bright presence, with LED headlights both in the front and the posterior part. Its robust and sophisticated appearance is complemented with an integrated grill, which allows increasing load capacity during trips and on the various types of land.
The dimensions of this SUV experience important improvements against its predecessor, with a length of 4,330 mm (+15 mm), a width of 1,790 mm, a height of 1,635 mm (+5 mm) and a wheelbase of 2,610 mm. One of the most prominent practical aspects is the expansion of the ability of the trunk, which now reaches 433 liters, exceeding 416 liters of the previous version. Also, it maintains its bicolor 17 -inch hoops, guaranteeing stability and comfort in handling.
Inside, Hyundai Crete 2026 presents a significant evolution in terms of technology and comfort. Front seats upholstered in echo leather with refrigeration in addition to a fully digital air conditioning system and wireless charger. The digital panel has a double screen integrated in a single block, composed of a 10.25 -inch digital information screen and a tactile infotainment screen of 10.25 inches. The multimedia system offers wireless connectivity with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, in addition to a Bluetooth system with voice recognition, integrated to the Bose sound equipment, which provides an intuitive and cable experience. It also incorporates a setback chamber with dynamic guides, parking rear sensors and a completely renewed interface for simpler handling.
Security reinforced with Hyundai Smartsense
Safety is another of the fundamental pillars of this new version, now incorporates six strategically distributed airbags, four -wheel disc brakes, Auto Hold and slope start assistant, ideal for our diverse country and tire pressure monitoring system.
To all this, the Hyundai Smartsense package is added, a complete suite of driving assists that includes frontal collision alert with autonomous emergency braking, maintenance and monitoring of lane, adaptive cruise control, blind spot assistant and rear cross traffic alert. These systems make the new Creta one of the safer SUVs in its category.
