The counselor Dania Ravel pointed out from her social networks that the directors are persecuted for their votes and recalled that the agreements and resolutions of the INE had not been a matter of criminal or administrative persecution against those who had a different legal vision, as now it is intended to be made.
“Pursuing members of a collegiate body for their legal valuations and votes have to inhibit independence in the decisions of their members. Ine’s agreements and resolutions are reviewed,” the counselor wrote.

These events occurred after December 17, 2021, with six votes in favor and five against, the General Council of the Administrative Electoral Body temporarily arrested the revocation of the mandate of then President López Obrador.
This is because the INE had a budget cut and the six councilors who voted in favor considered that sufficient resources were not had to carry out this consultation in the terms that the law marked, as installing the same number of box as in the 2018 presidential election.
This decision was revoked by the Electoral Court of the Judicial Power of the Federation (TEPJF) on December 29, so the activities related to the revocation of mandate were resumed on the next day.
The counselor recalled that on August 2022, the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) said that the INE acted effectively and efficiently in the realization of the revocation of mandate, in which only 17% of the voters participated.
“This because it fulfilled the objective entrusted to him and because he used the resources available for it optimally,” said counselor Dania Ravel.
In addition, it emphasized that it is striking that for almost four years the Comptroller did not carry out investigation proceedings, but it was until February 25, 2025 when the file was reactivated and on June 12 they requested information from those involved.
