Incinerated 2.9 tons of drugs in Amazonas

Incineration of a total of 2,864,46 kilograms of marijuana and 69.44 kilograms of cocaine

Last Friday, the incineration of 2,933.9 kilograms of illegal substances in the facilities of the Rural Commands 63-1 (Platanillal), of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), located in the ATURES municipality (Puerto Ayacucho), Amazonas state.

Such information was ventilated in the social networks of the National Anti -Drug Superintendence (SUNAD) where it is indicated that the procedure was carried out in strict compliance with the provisions of the Organic Drug Law (LOD).

Incineration of a total of 2,864,46 kilograms of marijuana and 69.44 kilograms of cocaine, substances seized during various operations carried out by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and police bodies were proceeded.

The act was headed by General Lionel Raúl Sojo Rada, commander of the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (Zodi) No. 63 Amazonas, accompanied by General José Rolando Ruiz Muñoz, commander of the Bolivarian National Guard Zone CZGNB-63 Amazonas; In addition to the State Commissioner Anti -Drugs of the SUNAD, Virginia Abreu and the First Control Judge of the Judicial Circumscription of the State of Amazonas, Ana Katerin Medina, among others.

‘»These actions are aimed at strengthening the fight against illicit drug trafficking, guaranteeing citizen security and promoting peace in Venezuela,’ ‘says Sunad’s report.

Last week, Interior Minister, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, reported that so far police and military agencies had seized 60,070 kilos of different drugs.
